Final task

Here is my final task assignment. Im sorry it took so long to upload I not only had the Flu but also an unreliable editor. It was fun to film the video but afterwards it was pretty much down hill.

Production blog: Filming

We were finally able to film and I think that it turned out pretty good. We started by getting a lift to the park and once we got there we checked around the area for a nice spot to film. After we found our area, we went to my house to get props since it was fairly close to the park. We walked there and talked a bit until we finally got there. We got a few different weapons to use as the killer’s weapon, a bike, scooter, mask ( that we ended up not using), ketchup for blood (which I forgot on the way back, and some money to get snacks. While waking back we talked a bit more and eventually the bike broke. We spent a few minutes fixing it but after a while we did it. We got back to the filming spot that we decided on earlier and put our stuff down and figured out what we’ll be doing during the filming. We messed around with a few different ideas and eventually we did something that would work. We ended up making a comedy horror since we thought it would be better, and we wanted to have

Me, Jayden, Daniel, and Myles have all planned to do different things during the making of our film. Since it was a horror film, we had to find costumes to use for the main villain. We couldn't come to a decision since if we bought a bad costume, it might of lead to the scene being corny instead of scary. The hardest part was deciding who would be the main villain. We decided on Jayden being the villain since he volunteered for it and fit more costumes better. The main villain also needed a weapon, and we decided on a machete since all of us like the Friday the 13th films and that inspired us to use one. We were ready to bring our opening sequence to life. The final step was buying all the necessary items we needed and going to a film location. However, this was a little difficult since we all had different schedules, and we have to find a time that works for all of us. We are still planning to do the scenes the same as how we planned before but we as a group decided to possibly ed

Production Blog: Editing

As someone who has been using Cap Cut since the start of my school year for my classes, I can confidently say it's the best editing software to use. Especially when filming a horror story such as my group is. I had my doubts when I first opened, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to navigate and the tips it tells you to help you navigate. I believe editing for horror is a life saver because it changes ordinary footage into spine-chilling scenes with a few clicks. It's easy to effortlessly create an ominous atmosphere using the app's lighting adjustment and eerie sound effects. There are plenty of transitions available along with haunting music that can keep any audience captivated throughout the video, ensuring maximum impact. My groupmate also mentioned that I could use Cap Cut's color grading options to enhance the eerie ambiance of the scenes, making every frame feel unsettling and ominous. There is also a motion tracking feature that is supposedly

On our first day of production we decided to revise everything. We went over the script and what we would be doing and when. we made a few minor changes and completely confirmed the date of when filming would start. We also discussed who would be in the titles and what music and sounds to use. Overall we did nothing else but those few things. Filming will begin soon and editing and final tweaks will be made soon after. School and our social lives have been causing a few issues with our time management and when we'll start filming. Our location will stay the same with it being Hampton's pines park. Since it has a nice forest area and scenery we thought it would fit well with our opening. After filming we'll probably mess around at the park area or travel along the path and do the workout trials. Our next day of production will most likely consist of final revisions and filming the actual opening. With us having filmed the music video before, we should be able to have filmin

Location of scene: Woods/Main Area     Daniel: I can't believe you guys made me come. You know I don't like anything resembling horror.     Mario: Don't be such a crybaby, it's just trees and animals. What's the worst that can happen?     Mario: Now come on, you and Jayden go find some sticks for the campfire.     Daniel: Umm- I guess so.     Location of scene: Deeper in woods     Jayden: Oh yeah, I probably should have mentioned this before we came along, but there's actually a rumor about this place.     Daniel: Excuse me? You're not serious are you? What's the rumor?     Jayden: I've heard there have been a lot of disappearances around these woods. Locals says there is some killer hanging his victim on trees. And that you can see the ghosts of the people buried here, haunting the area, making bizarre noises.     Daniel: What the heck is wrong with you guys bringing me to a place like this? You guys make me so mad I can't even- Did you hear tha
